How did you get into modelling and what is your favourite part about the job?
I was scouted when I was younger but never really took action. It was always in the back of my mind to give it a shot. When I moved to Sydney I started taking it seriously and it’s going really well. I’m currently living in NYC and I’m loving every minute of it. I get to work with different people everyday, I can be creative, I get to travel, play dress ups etc... I am really grateful and appreciative of my job.
If you weren’t a model you would be…
An undercover cop…
How would you describe your own personal style? You’re surrounded by fashion everyday but what do you love for you?
My style is very relaxed. I like to keep it simple and every now and then throw in a crazy print or colour. I love vintage and leather. I always shop for timeless pieces.
What is your pick from the Spring'14 campaign?
Top three? Well that’s a tough one! I have so many top picks.
From the Ready To Wear collection:
The Secrets Captured Dress is super cute and great dress for all occasions.
The Imprint Jacket is to die for. I’ll definitely be adding it to my collection.
The Sylvie Dress from the second delivery is a must!
Everything is incredible, from the prints in Ready-to-Wear to the L.W.B. basic collection:
I love the Boyfriend Jacket, especially in the navy, it’s super chic and extremely comfortable - right up my street.
The Double Layer Shirt Dress in lilac is a great “go-to” piece.
Finding a great quality and stylish pair of track pants is near impossible but the Patch Track Pant masters both.
Where’s your favourite hang out in Sydney?
I have a few…
I love jumping off the rocks at North Bondi, it’s so refreshing. Chapter One (South Bondi) know how to boil the perfect egg, accompanied by delicious vegemite soldiers. Me & Art in Surry Hills has super chilled vibes, I love hanging out with my girls in their backyard. Shady Pines and The Norfolk are great for a cheeky beverage.
If you could tell your story in one ten-song playlist what would it consist of?
I love this question! I also highly dislike it - it's a tough one. I’m going to name a few songs I’ve been listening to recently and a few classics:
Echo & The Bunnymen - Lips like Sugar
Sharon Jones & The Dap King - Better Things
Donovan - Sing A Song For You
Etta James - I’d Rather Go Blind
Donnie & Joe Emerson - Baby
Ray Charles - I Got A Woman
Dolly Parton - Jolene
Echo & The Bunnymen - Killing Moon
Rodriguez - Cause
Bonnie Raitt - I Can’t Make You Love Me
What consumes your thoughts?
Right now, I am sat in a hotel room in D.C. as my connecting flight to a job in West Virginia got cancelled. I am thinking about my family and how much I miss them. I’ve only spent one night with them this year.
